PROJECTS
Everything we've built and are building.
Railway Track Monitoring System
A railway track monitoring system designed to detect abnormalities in railway tracks by analyzing vibration patterns. An ADXL345 or MPU6050 accelerometer, connected to an ESP32, collects vibration data while the system moves along the railway track. The acquired data is analyzed to identify unusual vibration patterns that may indicate track irregularities or defects. Provides a low-cost and efficient approach for continuous railway track condition monitoring.
Underwater Imaging System
An underwater imaging system based on the DFRobot SEN0599 underwater sensor for detecting and analyzing objects and structures in underwater environments. The sensor uses acoustic signals and their reflections to obtain distance and spatial information about objects present underwater. The collected measurements can be processed to generate a 2D spatial representation or map of the underwater surroundings, helping visualize the position and shape of detected objects.
See-Through-Wall System
A see-through-wall sensing system that explores the use of Wi-Fi signals from an ESP32 to detect changes in the environment behind a wall. Wi-Fi signals interact with objects and human movement, causing changes in the received signal characteristics. The ESP32 transmits and receives Wi-Fi signals, while variations in the signal are analyzed to identify movement or the presence of a person behind a wall. A low-cost, Wi-Fi-based approach for through-wall sensing.
ATMEGA Robot Arm
A 4-DOF robotic arm built with ATmega2560, servo actuators, and custom PCB. Designed for pick-and-place tasks in the lab environment.
Weather Station IoT
An autonomous weather monitoring node using ESP32 with BME280 sensor, solar powered, transmitting data over MQTT to a local dashboard.
Line Follower Bot
IR sensor array based line following robot with PID control. Built for intra-college competition.
